After lots of testing from our mum's panel, read our full guide to see which of these tried and tested products will be best for you:

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula
£3.85
Rating: 10/10 – The mummy must-have

An award-winning classic for a reason, the cocoa butter smells fantastic and is great value for money as even a little bit went a long way. Packed with vitamin E, this should be a must-have in every mum’s beauty arsenal as it also helps to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks. Fast-absorbing, this is our mummy must-have!

Simple Kind-to-skin sun-kissed moisture cream
£2
Rating: 8/10 – The face brightener

Our favourite facial moisturiser, this is packed with essential vitamins and has a gorgeous scent which makes you feel a little brighter in an instant. With UVA protection built-in, the cream offers a light and natural gradual tan as well as softer and healthier looking skin.

Dove Summer Glow
£5.69
Rating: 9/10 – The gradual glow

This is the number one gradual self-tan moisturiser in the UK and had a nice fragrance with none of the usual fake tan smell. The lightweight formula didn’t leave skin feeling greasy, and it went on smoothly giving a good even colour, even on pale skin making it perfect for faking that healthy, sun-kissed look.

Lulu’s Body Bombshell Show-off Lotion
£15.50
Rating: 8/10 – The Anti-ager

Helping to repair and protect skin, as well as leaving it soft for hours – this is a great for adding an anti-ageing treatment to your morning moisturiser. With a lovely lavender scent and ingredients to help enhance collagen formation, this promises to reduce wrinkles and leave skin supple. We also love Lulu’s Time Fragrant Body Cream, which smells good enough to eat and gives the skin a great healthy sheen.

Lush Coco Lotion
£9.95
Rating: 8/10 – The nature-boost

This Caribbean inspired lotion has a light and runny texture which made it absorb easily and didn’t leave skin feeling sticky making it great for everyday use. The lotion is completely natural and includes ingredients such as extra virgin coconut oil and pineapple juice. It’s been formulated especially for black skin but is suitable for all.

Vaseline Essential Moisture
£2.75
Rating: 8/10 – The Bargain

We all love Vaseline and now the super-hydrating balm is available in a great value, bargain body moisturiser too. Ideal for keeping even dry or rough skin soft and supple, the texture made it absorb quickly enough for it to become part of our morning routine. Bonus points too for the subtle, yet natural scent which smelt lovely, yet wasn't heavily perfumed or over-whelming.

Organic Surge Body Lotion
£5.99
Rating: 7/10 – Only Organic

Getting big points for being certified organic, this sweet orange lotion absorbs super-quick and offers extra hydration for dry skin in need. The grey colour might not be everyone’s favourite, but this is ideal for giving a daily burst of natural goodness and for giving skin an organic boost.
