Cadbury launches ‘healthier’ chocolate bar for diet-conscious women
Worried about your weight but still want to enjoy choccy? Cadbury is launching a new low-calorie chocolate bar to tempt dieting ladies with a healthier treat.
The Crispello is the first new chocolate bar from Cadbury in almost twenty years and aims to tempt women back to the brand after diet-conscious women caused a massive slump in sales.
Released on 8th October, the chocolate bar is said to look a bit like a Ferrero Rocher, with wafer and a light creamy filling. It’s also only 165 calories, compared to some calorie-laden bars like Mars which weighs in at 260 cals.
It also comes in three sealed segments, meaning that you don’t have to eat it all in one go and can save some for later. Hmm, nice idea - but who else would just eat it all at once?
Do you think the Crispello will tempt you? Do you see the point in ‘lighter’ junk food options?
