Celebrate International Women’s Day
Today is International Women’s Day, a day to focus on showing respect, love and appreciation towards women around the world and to celebrate everything that women have achieved. From London and New York to Tokyo and New Delhi, women everywhere are celebrating the day by taking part in talks, festivals and marches. Here are a few of today’s main events!
In London, the Women of the World Festival 2016 begins today with a mix of both serious and funny talks and debates, as well as music and comedy. The event runs right through until Sunday so there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved! Hear from a range of thought leaders and activists and enjoy over 150 events that will be taking place throughout the week, what better way to celebrate?
