Drink three cups of coffee a day for a longer life
As mums we know how important that first coffee in the morning is! We all need it before getting the kids up and ready for school! New research suggests that three cups of coffee a day could actually extend your life!
Two studies, one British led and one American led both found that drinking up to three cups a day reduced the risk of an early death. The studies tracked participants for 16 years and found that women who drank three cups of coffee a day were 8 per cent less likely to die than those that did not!
This is great news if you are an avid coffee drinker as the long list of benefits has been revealed in these new studies. The research suggests that coffee will help prevent cancer and heart disease and found that it also reduced the risk of liver disease and digestive and circulatory problems.
It looks like there’s just health benefits all round for coffee – excuse us while we go and stick on the kettle!
