How can you pack smart for your holiday?
The summer holidays are now well under way and many of us will be looking forward to jetting off on holiday with our families or friends. If you’re thinking of going abroad this year, you may find that more airlines are now charging extra for holidaymakers to put luggage in the hold, with fees of up to £50 for oversized cabin luggage.
With this in mind, we’ve come up with some tips to help you pack smart so you can save a few pounds!
• Ladies, it’s okay to keep it natural on holiday! Leave the make-up and hair straighteners at home and you’ll notice a difference in the weight of your case.
• Plan your outfits before you pack so you only pack the clothes that you need rather than taking half of your wardrobe.
• The kids will want to take toys and games with them on holiday, so why not kit them out with a backpack? This means that their toys can be stored separately from the main suitcase.
• Rather than packing toiletries, buy them when you arrive at your destination. You can then use them whilst you’re there and you don’t even need to bring them home!
