How to make Dinosaur fossils!
This month it’s Dinovember on UKMums.tv and we’ve teamed up with Schleich to celebrate all things dinosaurs!
A really great way to join in on the dino fun is to make your very own dinosaur fossils! All you need are some basic house-hold ingredients and a handful of Schleich figurines. Read on to find out how to make them.
You will need:
- Plain flour
- Brown coloured food dye
- Dinosaur figurines
If you do not have brown food colouring, use watered down brown paint but make sure you don’t eat the fossils after – they won’t taste very nice!
Simply mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and turn the mixture into dough balls then take your dinosaur figures and gently press them into the rounded dough balls. Place the fossils on a tray and allow them to dry out and harden, then paint the dinosaur imprint with watered down brown paint and leave them to dry.
Once they have dried, there you go! A whole host of dinosaur fossils for some prehistoric playtime!
