Is it possible for women to have it all?
If you’re a working mum, how easy do you find it to juggle motherhood and work life? Is it possible to be successful at both?
ITV’s Tonight programme aims to decide whether women “can have it all”. Its poll found that both genders do not think it is possible for women to be good mums and have a good career. As well as this, according to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, one in nine women said that they were made redundant or dismissed from their job because they became pregnant.
Tonight at 7:30pm, Tonight’s programme “Kids vs Career” will go behind the scenes with new mum and TV presenter Helen Skelton-Myler to see how she balances home and work life. She will look at key issues that face women in Britain today such as delaying having a baby while building a career, workplace discrimination and equal pay.
We’d love to know what you think, is it possible for women to balance motherhood and a successful career?
