Justin Timberlake on Fatherhood
As parents, we know being a mum or dad isn’t easy especially when it comes to the obligatory nappy changes and when little one’s nether regions are in a messy old state.
So it’s always refreshing when a celebrity admits caring for son or daughter isn’t a walk in the park, and UKMums.TV loved Justin Timberlake more when he did just that recently.
The 35-year-old Cry Me a River hit-maker revealed in a radio interview with American host Carson Daly, reported in the Daily Mail, how he regularly gets covered in baby faeces while looking after his 13-month-old son Silas whose mother is Justin’s illusionist star wife Jessica Biel.
“Here’s what I’ll say,” Timberlake said, “all I know is I don’t know what the hell I did before. It’s an extremely humbling experience, and I’ve never had more poop on my person.”
He also poked fun at a dog owner he spoke to who compared the pitfalls of pooch ownership with having a child, saying that when a mutt has an accident they "roll in there with the heavy duty Bounty paper towels".
Keen to stress he doesn’t hesitate in getting his hands dirty with little Silas, he responded: 'I’m like, Dude, when you have a kid, you just get in there, man!"
Great to hear you’re a hands-on dad, Justin!
