In yet another Royal publicity nightmare, a French magazine is set to publish photos of the Duchess of Cambridge topless today, which were apparently taken by snooping paparazzi with a long lens camera.
The photos, set to be published by French Closer magazine, are said to have been taken whilst Kate was holidaying with Prince William in Provence last week at a private pool.
Kate and Prince William are said to be ‘saddened’ by the news, with the Palace considering legal options to avoid a scandal.
The magazine posted a teaser for its exclusive, with photos on the front page of Kate about to take off her bikini top, it also ran with the text: “A little more than a year after their marriage, the royal couple was offered a romantic getaway, far from the protocol and etiquette in their very own garden of Eden.
Almost alone in the world ... because Closer was there! After the Olé Olé holidays of Prince Harry in Las Vegas, discover the very sensual shots of Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William .”
Many have already compared the publicity storm to the one that surrounded Prince William’s late mother Princess Diana, who was famously hounded by paparazzi in her most private moments. Do you think that the paparazzi need to respect the Royal couple’s privacy?
Or should the magazine be allowed to publish the photos?
