The trials on mice showed a 10% loss in body weight in just four days. During the trials the mice were given a high fat diet which would usually result in weight gain – leading scientists to believe we could eat whatever we wanted without putting on weight!
Too good to be true? The trials didn’t consider the other effects a bad diet has. So even if you stay slim, poor eating habits would still have serious consequences such as heart disease and diabetes – but would that put you off?
