Forget diet and exercise, a new ‘flab jab’ has been invented which could let you eat junk food, yet still stay slim.
The anti-obesity drug, created by scientists in America, makes the body’s immune system block the hormones that make us put on weight and could be the answer to fighting the bulge.
The trials on mice showed a 10% loss in body weight in just four days. During the trials the mice were given a high fat diet which would usually result in weight gain – leading scientists to believe we could eat whatever we wanted without putting on weight!
Too good to be true? The trials didn’t consider the other effects a bad diet has. So even if you stay slim, poor eating habits would still have serious consequences such as heart disease and diabetes – but would that put you off?
Before you ditch the gym gear, sadly the vaccine is still around seven to ten years away from being available.
