One Direction due to take a break
Reports have emerged from The Sun that the band are due to take their first break since getting together on The X Factor in 2010. This proposed temporary separation from one another is due to take place in March after the band have released their fifth studio album.
Apparently each individual member has their own solo projects they want to focus on and the proposed break was due to take place with or without previous band member Zayn Malik.
A source told The Sun: "The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boy band. They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100% behind the decision. It is definitely not a split and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future."
The Bands fifth studio album will reportedly not be toured after a decision was made in a London meeting last weekend. Apparently there's "a lot of interest" in Harry Styles from Hollywood and Louis Tomlinson is "very much in contention to be a judge on The X Factor", according to The Sun's source.
The band do say however that this is not a split and they will be back together again.
