Peppa Pig is hitting the big screen
If you didn’t have chance to catch This Morning yesterday, they were talking all things Peppa Pig! Harley Bird who is the voice of Peppa Pig, spoke to Phillip Schofield and Sarah Greene about the upcoming release of “Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience”.
Fifteen year old Harley Bird has been voicing the character for a decade. She is the third person to voice Peppa Pig and she can now switch into the voice of the four year old character very easily. After a little persuasion from Phillip Schofield she slips perfectly into the character and even threw in an oink and snort for good measure! During the interview, mums took to Twitter to announce their children’s confusion when being able to hear Peppa but not see her!
The cinema adaption “Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience”, features nine mini episodes which are all brand new to the screen. The episodes are linked with interactive questions to get the kids to feel involved and part of the experience.
During the first of the never-before-seen episodes, Peppa and her friends take trip to London and are given a tour by the Queen! Be sure to listen out for two familiar voices in the cinema as David Mitchell lends his voice to Policeman Panda and Jo Brand voices Mrs Crocodile.
If you join Peppa for her 'First Cinema Experience' during opening weekend at an Odeon across the UK you receive something a little extra for your little ones; free Peppa Pig sticker sets (while stocks last).
