Prince George poses for his very first postage stamp
With the Queen turning 90 this year and birthday celebrations kicking off today, the limelight is well and truly on the Royal Family, and Prince George has managed to steal the spotlight once again with his cheeky smile.
Prince George joins his father, grandfather and great grandmother to pose for a set of postage stamps as part of the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations. George looks delighted to be a part of the photo as he stands on a pile of books holding daddy’s for security, completing four generations of royals in the photograph.
The image of the family was captured by photographer Ranald Mackechnie as part of a specially commissioned wider portrait of the House of Windsor - the Queen and three future monarchs.
A further six stamps have also been released for thehead of state's 90th birthday - three focusing on the Queen's family life and three honouring her official role.
The Queen will begin her birthday celebrations today as Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh are set to visit the Royal Mail delivery office in Windsor to mark the 500th anniversary of the Postal Service, with the stamp helping to mark this special occasion.
