Street party for the Queen’s 90th birthday next year
A patron's lunch will be held on Sunday 12th June next year, for 10,000 guests to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday, including charity organisations which her Majesty supports.
The Mall will be lined with picnic tables, where guests can dine on picnic hampers, and there will be 1,000 tickets available for open ballot to the general public. The following day, the traditional Trooping the Colour ceremony will be staged in Horse Guards Parade.
There will be a culmination of national events over the weekend, with festivities happening at Green Park and St James Park.
The Queen is patron of a wide range of organisations, including children's charity Barnardo's, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
