Yo-kai Watch: The Launches!

Yo-kai Watch is now in its second season and in celebration, there have been two new exciting launches that are available to you today!

Launched only on Friday (7th April), Nintendo has released two new Yo-kai Watch games; YO-KAI WATCH® 2: Bony Spirits and YO-KAI WATCH® 2: Fleshy Souls for Nintendo 3DS and there are over 350 Yo-kai to discover!

One night, as you are fast asleep, two sinister Yo-kai peer through your bedroom window and wipe away all of your memories, as well as your Yo-kai Watch. The next day you stumble across the Mysterious Memory Store where you are reunited with your Yo-kai Watch, shortly followed by your hilarious Yo-kai pals, Jibanyan and Whisper, who fans will recognise from the hit TV cartoon series. Players can play as either Nate or Katie on a journey through time as they try to uncover the reasons behind the latest mysteries and disturbances in their hometown.

Players join the Bony or Fleshy army depending which version of YO-KAI WATCH 2 they choose and each version includes 5 exclusive Yo-kai which can be trade locally and online. There will be over 100 new exclusive Yo-kai, some of them only available in YO-KAI WATCH® 2: Bony Spirits and some others only in YO-KAI WATCH® 2: Fleshy Souls.

For the first time, a fully featured multiplayer mode allows players to trade Yo-kai Medals online and to create a team of their favourite Yo-kai to challenge faraway friends in epic 6 vs 6 battles. Players will also discover the mini-game “Yo-kai Watch Blasters” where they can team up with up to three friends while embodying one of their Yo-kai. Players join the Bony or Fleshy army depending which version of YO-KAI WATCH 2 they choose and Each version includes 5 exclusive Yo-kai which can be trade locally and online. 

Over 80 mini quests will extend the fun of the main storyline and their completions will grant players exclusive bonuses and new Yo-kai encounters.
