All about Pink Magazine

This week on we are being taken over my Pink magazine! A star of supermarket shelves since 2005, the three weekly, 36 page magazine for kids aged 4-9 includes free gifts and stickers EVERY issue.

Featuring all the hottest brands such as Shopkins, L.O.L. Suprise, Num Noms, My Little Pony, Miraculous, Hello Kitty, Nella the Princess Knight, Shimmer & Shine, Barbie and more. The hardest decision readers will face is deciding which pages to complete first!

From the fun design and engaging editorial, it’s clear to see that the team behind Pink are passionate about what they do. Ensuring content is fresh, characters and brands are up to date and that activities and design are clear to readers is key.

Freya Gardner, Editor of Pink magazine, explains, “With so many magazines to choose from, it’s important that we give our readers great value for money. We try to ensure our pages are full, but not overloaded, and that there are enough activities to engage, but not overwhelm, readers. We work hard to create a balance between fun and education. Magazines should always be a treat, not a chore!”

Pink magazine is certainly a treat, and one that keeps on giving. There’s enough inside Pink to keep readers entertained over time, with activities that readers can keep coming back to, more involved crafts alongside quick puzzles, as well as activities that can be enjoyed both with a friend or family member, but also independently.

The Pink team also love hearing from readers with any ideas and suggestions. Recently the team were contacted by the parent of a young reader who donated 11.5 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust and raised £610 in donations. Jess Shepherd, Pink designer says, “We were so impressed by what this reader had achieved that we decided to dedicate a whole page to her. We hope her story inspires others, and we would love to hear all about the amazing things that other readers are doing.”

Readers can also share photos and drawings with Pink magazine, with winning entries selected to win fab prizes every issue. For 2018, readers who are selected as winners of the Pretty in Pink photo competition will win a Smiggle bundle! You’ll also find a Fash’ems Super Collector competition in every issue, as well as many other cool competitions. There’s always LOADS to win!

Like the Pink Magazine Facebook page to receive updates on upcoming issues, stickers, gifts and to enter even more fab competitions!

Pink is published by Kennedy Publishing and is available at Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, WHSmith, Morrisons and all good independent retailers (selected stores only).
