Cycle rides are such a fun activity for the whole family! There are so many picturesque cycle routes around the UK where you can spend a gorgeous sunny day exploring. Kids will love turning into mini-adventurers with their Y Velo balance bike as they cycle through forests and fields discovering wildlife and more. 1. Monsal Trail Peak District: Recently reopened after a £2m restoration, the Monsal Trail is a stunning route for the family this summer. 2. New Forest: New Forest has a brilliant cycle network for the whole family to enjoy this summer. The ancient forest offers a peaceful environment with plenty of opportunities for the kids to spot wildlife.
3. Sherwood Pines: In Sherwood Pines forest you’ll find a stunning family-friendly route. The 3-mile loop starts at the visitor centre, leads you through the forest and back again for a fun and easy ride. Taking approximately 1 hour to complete this trail is ideal for those of you with younger kids, and there are even picnic benches along the way!
4. Swansea Bike Path: for beautiful coastal views, head to Swansea Bay for a fun, family-friendly route. With a tarmac surface, kids will be able ride along easily as they enjoy the sea and sunshine.
