Thinktank Birmingham

The Thinktank in Birmingham is an award winning science museum and promises fun for all the family. One of its stand out attractions is its planetarium. This attraction offers every visitor a tour around the stars and really can capture the imagination of any young astronomist.
The Thinktank also hosts a number of other spectacular attractions including their take on what to expect from the future, the fascinating Spitfire Gallery and the ancient skull of a real Triceratops.

A ticket for a family of four comes at the reasonable price of £38.00 with children under the age of 3 going free!


At-Bristol has more than 300 interactive exhibitions for the family to enjoy. Located near the centre of the city this museum has many attractions that will entertain including the opportunity to walk through a tornado.Other exhibitions on offer include the chance to enter a giant soap bubble, watch as cosmic rays fly through a cloud chamber and experience one of the planetarium shows.

A child ticket (aged3-15) will cost you a very reasonable £8.95 with adult tickets priced at £13.90.

The Life Science Centre Newcastle

If your children are looking for a more detailed and educational experience then a trip to the Life Science Centre may be the right choice for you. 
This centre is located directly next to science research sites and offers plenty of fun for children in Newcastle. Not only does this centre offer many hands on attractions but it also offers the opportunity for your children to experience science talks from real life scientists, doctors and astronauts in their science theatre.

Other attractions include a motion simulation ride, young explorer zone and planetarium. Tickets for children aged 5-17 are priced at £6.95 with adult tickets costing £9.95 each.
