Best Winter Attractions.
Although winter is traditionally cold and wet, there is no reason for that to dampen your spirits! Here are some of our top attractions for over the colder seasons.
Winter Wonderland: Winter Wonderland provides fun, laughter and excitement for both adults and children. Now in its eighth year, there are no shortages of attractions such as an ice rink, Christmas markets, the circus and of course – Santa’s grotto!
Winter Wonderland doesn’t open its doors until November 20th, which gives you plenty of time to plan your trip – especially as tickets are free! But although the tickets are free, the attractions are not, so don’t forget to bring your wallet!
Disney on Ice: With dates available all over the country from October 2015, Disney on Ice would be a great attraction for both adults and children as world class ice skaters bring your favourite Disney characters to life! Tickets start at £25, so it ought to be something that you should consider!
Tamworth Snowdome: Another attraction that both adults and children can enjoy would be a trip to Tamworth’s Snowdome. With activities such as ice skating, skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing, there is no shortage of choice when it comes to deciding what to do!
Ice Bar, London: The Ice Bar, London, is the UK’s only permanent bar made of ice and is kept at -5oC all year round! Under 18s are allowed inside when accompanied by an adult, but only until 17:45. After that, it is strictly 18 and over so, if you do want to take the kids, make sure it is before that time! It is also recommended that you make a booking as they do often get fully booked.
