The world’s largest arts festival has just got underway in Scotland, but what can you expect from this year’s Fringe Festival? If you’re thinking of heading to Edinburgh this month we’ve taken a look at some of the main shows you can look forward to across the city this year.
No matter what your music taste there’ll be something for you to enjoy at the Edinburgh Fringe. With solo artists and bands performing everything from folk and country to jazz and rock, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. You might even discover an artist or band who becomes your new favourite!
If you fancy a bit of stand-up or even cabaret, there are a whole host of comedy acts performing throughout the month. The performances cover a range of topics and each performer will bring something different to the stage. It shouldn’t be difficult to find something that tickles your funny bone!
Heading to the Fringe Festival with the kids? No matter how young they are there’ll be something that they can be involved in. There are set to be performances of popular shows such as “Aladdin” and “Alice” as well as drama workshops for kids of all ages to take part in. You’re guaranteed to not be short of things to keep your little ones entertained.
If you’re a fan of theatre then you’re sure to find a show or two to go and see throughout the month. Whether you fancy seeing a drama, comedy or physical theatre performance, there’ll be a whole range of shows to look forward to.
