iCoo Acrobat Travel System review

iCoo Acrobat Travel System review was lucky enough to receive the exclusive new iCoo Acrobat Travel Systems for review and was sent to one of our very lucky testers, Jenny Martin to see what she thought.

I was very excited when I received the iCoo Acrobat to review. A pushchair was always something I considered carefully when shopping for my new baby and style was also always going to be important to me, after all... I do have to push it around wherever I go with my baby.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the colour scheme of the pushchair. I absolutely love copper anyway so love that the frame is made in a stylish copper design. The black and burgundy added to the stylish look and made it look very smart and high end. It certainly didn't look 'babyish' or too 'in your face' which I loved.

The iCoo Acrobat comes with a main pushchair but also a car seat which is great. My only comment on this would be that it felt a little bulky compared to some other car seats that are available and I'm quite small so carrying it with a baby in became a little tricky but not impossible. Saying that, it does feel safe and secure for my little one and they certainly looked comfortable so this can be overlooked. The car seat connects to the main frame very easily with the addition of two plastic clips and feels very secure when it's connected. It's also easy to release with one hand so the other is free to secure the car seat by holding the handle.

The main pushchair opened and closed more easily than any other I've tried and can even be collapsed with one hand which is great if you have a babe in arms. It has a simple twist and click motion on the handle and then when pushed downwards it collapses into a compact frame which can easily be lifted into even a small boot. Great for travelling!

The main pushchair straps have a five point system which is great for safety but also for comfort and was easy to close together. The padded straps also added to the comfort. The main seat is in leather so great for cleaning which is also a key point I would look for when buying a pushchair as it can't go through the washing machine like most baby items.

The wheels at the front are larger than the ones at the back and can be easily locked and unlocked by a simple press of a button which is very easy to use.

Other things to mention are the two separate foot covers, one for both the car seat and main pushchair; they are elasticated so that stay snug around the seat and attach with simple press studs keeping baby cosy. A handy size shopping basket and it also comes with a full size rain cover. The two viewing Windows on both the car seat and main pushchair hoods are handy when checking on your little one when not wanting to disturb them too.

The travel system retails at £599.99 and is absolutely worth every penny. Compared to some of the more 'designer' pushchairs on the market which can retail nearer the £1000 mark this certainly matches up in style but is ahead when it comes to practicality! A very sturdy, stylish and well-made item! Well done iCoo!
