Jurassic World review!

Jurassic World review!

Jurassic World has got to be one of the most highly anticipated films of the year and with a record breaking opening weekend at the US box office – it is certainly living up to its expectations!

The original in the series, Jurassic Park, launched 22 years ago, so I was very excited to see the improvement in graphics, as from what I can remember, they would be hard to beat (obviously not, but at the time, those dinosaurs felt very real to me).

I was proven wrong from the outset – the graphics were stunning but not so over the top that they looked unrealistic. I viewed the film in 3D too which enhanced the viewing experience even further – I was very excited.

The story is based on ‘Jurassic World’ a fully functioning dinosaur theme park on Isla Nublar. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates in decline, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitors' interest and fulfil a corporate order – but with horrible consequences!

As expected, terror ensues once more on Isla Nublar, and the race is on to save island and its visitors from the team of escaped dinosaurs. The responsibility lies with lead heart throb, Chris Pratt (worth a visit just for him – check out our Hunk of the Month if you’re not sure who this is) Bryce Dallas Howard who are both wonderful!

The film is full of action, drama, thrills and even a little romance. It is as brilliant as it is predictable! Apart from a slightly silly ending, I loved this film and felt it totally lived up to the hype!
