Kids Birthday Party Inspiration
Now the children are back to school, it’s time to brace yourself for children’s birthday party season! And if you’re hosting one any time soon, read on for party inspiration for girls and boys of all ages.
For tiny tots, what could be cuter than decorating in the theme of their favourite children’s TV character? We love these Teletubbies party accessories from the Party Pieces website. You could go subtle with a few party plates and napkins, or go mad with a personalised banner to celebrate with Tinky Winky, La La, Dipsy and Po.
Here at UKMums.TV we know Peppa Pig is a favourite with children of all ages, so it might be worth checking out the complete Peppa Pig Carnival party set on Amazon. It’s a party kit in a box and comes complete with everything needed for a party of 16, including paper cups and plates and a table cover.
Primary school age:
For older children, why not host a fancy dress party? They’ll have fun seeing their friends all dressed up! The website Parties R Us has a brilliant selection of fun outfits for boys and girls. Little princesses will love to dress up as Disney’s Elsa or Cinderella, and boys will have fun dressed up as their favourite character from Star Wars, or as Dennis the Menace!
What girl doesn’t enjoy being pampered? Get a local beautician around to do their nails, or supply all the nail varnishes and face masks for them to pamper themselves. The birthday girl will feel really special and relaxed with her best friends.
For boys who love the outdoors, how about a garden camping party with friends? Just put up a tent or two and lay on some nibbles and music. Let the boys entertain themselves!
