Lumie Bodyclock Iris Review
Lumie sent us one of their Bodyclocks to test out and it’s fair to say we have been converted!
Lumie Bodyclocks allow you to wind down at night by gradually fading their light so you can settle down to sleep, but it’s in the morning, in our opinion, that the magic happens! The clocks slowly light up and ready your body for the day’s activity. We love the fact that the wake-up lights help to keep your sleep cycle on track and we found that our energy and mood was boosted in the morning after waking up with the Bodyclock.
The Lumie Bodyclock Iris has two aromatherapy chambers that can be filled with “sunrise” and “sunset” oils of your choice which help to relax the body at night and give an energy boost in the morning. The Bodyclock’s light is great for early, dark mornings as it mimics the sunrise, helping you to gradually wake up even if it still looks dark outside!
We think that the Bodyclock Iris is the perfect alternative to a standard alarm clock which can wake you with a kick. We’d much rather be woken with a gentle, gradual light along with a good smell which gives the body a much needed morning energy boost! The Bodyclock is easy to set up and we like the idea of being able to make the sunrise or sunset last between 15 and 90 minutes depending on how long you take to wake up and fall asleep.
We give the Lumie Bodyclock Iris a big 10/10! You can find out more about Lumie’s collection of wake-up lights here.
