May Bank Holiday Ideas
As I’m sure you’re aware, it’s a Bank Holiday on Monday! Below are just a few activities that you can enjoy on your day off!
1. A Trip to Madame Tussauds: You can always guarantee a great day out when visiting Madame Tussauds. The London based wax museum shows off hundreds of lifelike wax figures that will keep you and your children amused for hours. Tickets start from £23.79 (with a reduced price for under 16’s) so this should definitely be on your radar for your day off!
2. A day at London Zoo: A trip to London Zoo will be sure to keep you (and the little ones) happy and entertained. Favourites such as penguins, lions, giraffes and of course monkeys are only some of the animals available to see at the zoo. But if you can’t get down to London, why not take a trip to the West Midlands Safari Park? The safe drive-through allows you to come face to face with the animals!
3. The National Space Centre: The National Space Centre is an all-weather attraction for all the family situated in the heart of the Midlands and is located just two miles from Leicester city centre. With six galleries and the UK’s largest domed planetarium, there’s plenty of fun to be had for people of all ages!
4. National Sea Life Centre: Located in Birmingham, the National Sea Life Centre has over 1,000 creatures for the kids to admire, including otters, rays and sharks. There’s plenty to keep children busy all day, with creature talks, an interactive rock-pool and VIP feeding experiences that the whole family are bound to enjoy.
