Spring High Street Fashion

Hurray! Spring is here, which means there’s a whole new look for the season to consider. We’ve taken a peek at what’s new in for women’s clothing on the high street and hope this style guide inspires your new look!

Stripes

It’s all about the stripes, which have made their way from formal office wear to spring casuals, too. Bright and bold vertical lines are in fashion for spring 2017 (think bright summer deck chairs and you won’t be far of the mark) but we adore the subtle hortizontal lines printed on this (1) Rachel Print Shirt Dress which is available from Monsoon priced £59.00. It’s versatile and can be belted at the waist for a flattering effect.

Khaki

The Khaki look is bang on-trend, with the material a feature in many new clothing ranges. We think these (2) Sporty Elasticated Waistband Crepe Trousers available from George at Asda priced £14.00. look great with its mock drawstring detailing. Its elastic waistband makes for easy wearing, too, ideal for a look of effortless and comfortable style!

Yellow

Whether mellow or mustard, yellow is the defining hue of the season so don’t be afraid to add a splash of colour to your wardrobe with a shade that’s as bright as the spring/summer sun. (3) This floral print cardigan from M&S priced £25.00 combines mustard yellow and black in a striking pattern that’s enough to be eye-catching but not too ‘in your face’!

Cut it out

Shoulder cut-outs are all the rage right now, so bare the tops of your arms and let them feel the spring breeze.  This (4) Cold Shoulder Shirt from Next priced from £28.00 bears a stunning floral pattern that would look fab paired with trousers for a smart and casual look. It’s also available in stripes.

Trench coats

Put that thick overcoat away! Light trench coats are in, like this (5) Cotton Trench Coat from Mango available priced £59.99. We love the double button detail and the adjustable inner drawstring waist.
