1. North Cornwall
Watergate Bay, on the North Coast near Newquay, has two miles of soft golden sand and is Cornwall’s top activity beach. The Extreme Academy gives lessons in water sports-Perfect for families with older children

2. Hayle Cornwall
The beaches here have clear waters and fine sand. They tend to be quiet, but for busy beaches, St. Ives is only a short drive away.

On the South Coast, Salcombe is dotted with perfect little crescent beaches offering safe, gentle swimming. Mill Bay is just a short boat ride across the water, and is one of the prettiest UK beaches hosting rock pools and low tides.

4. Bognor Regis

Winterton-on-sea is a lovely sloped beach that is perfect for paddling. The beach is unspoiled by arcades and tourist attractions but can get busy (but not crowded) during the summer.
