With the Olympics fast approaching, now is the perfect time to start getting in the Olympic spirit! With this in mind we have some great products from Golden Bear that do just that!

Mum says (Rachel of Really Rachel Blog): We were sent a singing Wenlock soft toy to review and it was a big hit in our house! Wenlock sings and dances as he sings the chorus from the 2012 Official Mascot Song - Follow the Rainbow and has soft moldable arms that you can twist into whatever position you want them in. All of the children enjoying singing with him and making him dance and they proudly took him to school to show their friends and teachers and he was a big hit, DD2 even slept with him last night and keeps singing with him and cuddling with him! When we watched the torch come through they recognised Wenlock when he passed as someone was holding a stuffed Wenlock teddy and pointed him out to me. Even the baby has taken a shine to him and keeps pressing his foot to make him dance! Not even is he a fun toy for them to play with he is also a lovely keepsake for the children to remember the Olympics when they've moved on to the Rio de Janeiro games of 2016.

Mum says: My Children and I are enjoying the countdown to London 2012, so we were all very excited when we received some Olympic merchandise to review. This toy is educational and fun! The children had a great time assembling the scene, asking questions about each and every landmark they picked up and I enjoyed teaching them a little bit about London, such as where the queen lives. The sunshine and rainbows added some extra colour to the picture and attracted the children’s attention as they recognised them instantly. My eldest daughter made up stories about Wenlock and Mandeville as she changed the scene around, whilst the younger children simply enjoyed sticking the felts on and ripping them off again. I’m really pleased we got to review this toy as it has increased my children’s awareness of the London Olympics and their capital city, which I am now planning to visit so they can see the landmarks for themselves.
Team GB MINI Cooper S
£14.99
MINI are flying the flag for Team GB at London 2012! Decorated with the Team GB logo, this iconic MINI Cooper S has a hidden surprise; press the button and Pride the Lion, Official Team GB mascot, pops up from the roof.
Mum says: My boys couldn’t have been more excited when I told them we would be getting a brand new toy car to play with. They zoomed it round for the whole afternoon, racing it against their collection of cars. I really liked the British colours on the design as I felt it added extra meaning to the toy. The children especially enjoyed when Pride the Lion popped out because they had a character to drive the car. The boys have been keen to play with this every day and even though it has been bashed around quite a lot it still looks amazing! I think this toy is great because it adds an Olympic theme to a popular toy children already love so they will continue to play with this after London 2012.
