EasyJet passengers’ worried pilots are slacking!
Pilots are supposed to keep you safe whilst you’re in their care and pay attention at all times, right? Well it was a different story on one EasyJet flight to Madrid…
A pair of pilots have come under fire after a video surfaced of them playing a Snapchat game whilst flying a packed passenger plane. Captain Michel Castellucci posted the video on social media which showed him and his co-pilot fooling around while at the controls of the plane. He captioned the video: "Dancing first officer in cruise doing paperwork."
EasyJet, however, has said no passengers were put at risk despite the fact the pilots were seen filming each other on their phones playing the online games.
Viewers have been very unimpressed, with one writing: "The cockpit duo were not focused on the controls, just on having a good time. It only takes seconds for something catastrophic to go wrong, even in cruise control.
It’s dangerous, unprofessional, and sends out the wrong image. High jinks in the cockpit at 30,000ft is never a good look."
What do you think? Do you think this is irresponsible of the pilots? Or perhaps they are trained enough to know when is the correct time to relax? Share your thoughts with us on our social media @UKMumstv
