Best Christmas markets to visit in the UK!
With just over three weeks till Christmas, Britain’s festive markets have already opened their doors! Christmas isn’t the same without good food, mulled wine, ice rinks and gifts, so why not experience some of the most magical Christmas markets in the UK? Wherever you are, there’s always a Christmas market for you!
Birmingham - November 16th – December 24th
The Christmas Market in Birmingham is the biggest German Market held outside Germany and Austria! Visitors can soak up the atmosphere whilst enjoying the wide range from mulled wine to beers and from meats to pastries.
Manchester - November 10th – December 21st
Manchester hosts several markets throughout the city, you can enjoy markets from Germany, France and Europe; There’s plenty to choose from! Not only can you enjoy the different themed food and drink at each market but you can also find great boutiques and fairground rides.
Brighton - November 25th – December 10th
This market is Brighton’s 8th Christmas Market. This year they’re making lots of changes at Jubilee Square with 22 exciting and creative stallholders, snow machines and for the first time they’ll have a Santas Grotto. The Christmas Market also includes Santas Post Box, so the kids can send their letters to Santa, free photos on Santas Sleigh, prizes, competitions and food and drink! Happening over three weekends, this is definitely not worth the miss!
Leeds Castle – weekends in December
A Christmas Gift fair is held in the grounds of Leeds Castle on December 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th and it will feature live music, children’s rides, reindeers, a Victorian carousel and other fairground attractions.
