Life of the Party preview

And it’s here! The eagerly awaited comedy, Life of the Party, is finally out in cinemas and is guaranteed to make the teenage generation squirm! Melissa McCarthy has reunited with director Ben Falcone to write the script and takes the lead role, while Falcone directs.

In a nutshell, Deanna (McCarthy) is a long-time dedicated housewife and mum who, when her husband suddenly dumps her, decides to turn regret into re-set by going back to college.  And yes, you’ve guessed it!  She ends up in the same class as her daughter, Maddie, played by Molly Gordon!  As you can imagine, Maddie is not at all impressed, particularly with her mum plunging headlong into the campus experience by becoming the increasingly outspoken Dee Rock and fully embracing freedom, fun and frat boys on her own terms. Sounds like things could get embarrassing!

To see how Deanna/Dee Rock gets on, get yourselves along to the cinemas without delay!
