Top holiday parks for a staycation!

Half term is near and of course there’s the impending long summer break ahead. If you’re still looking for a staycation with the family take a look at our four fave UK holiday parks!

A Devon favourite - Bideford Bay
Sitting on top of a hill with breath-taking sea views, Bideford Bay is one of the most beautiful holiday parks to visit. If you can ever stop admiring the gorgeous scenery, why not take the kids down for a swim or a game of crazy golf? The entertainment centre is a hit amongst guests too, making it ideal for families with young children.

Island setting - Lower Hyde Holiday Park
If you’re looking for time on an island why not head to Lower Hyde on the Isle of Wight's east coast? There's both an outside pool and an indoor heated one - with flumes, as well as a sports court, arcade and evening entertainment. You can stay in lodges, caravans and even chalets. There are also pitches available for tents and non-static caravans.

Lots to do for all the family at Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth
With a Tropical Water World, a Louie’s Den Kids Club and a chilled hangout for teens known as The Hideout you won’t be hearing the phrase ‘I’m bored!’ at this lively park! With the town of Great Yarmouth close by why not take a stroll down the beach and enjoy some traditional seaside fun!

Inland countryside – Beaconsfield Park, Shropshire
Why not spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of city life? Beaconsfield Park is surrounded by beautiful lakes and it has been run for 15 years by the Poole family. With a five star rating it’s complete with an indoor pool and a restaurant. There’s a touring caravan park and lodges that you can stay in which are truly special.

These holiday parks were also featured on The Mirror Online.
